- Wet or lubricate the stone being flattened<\/li>\n
- Start flattening with the coarse side #150<\/li>\n
- Once desired flatness is achieved, finish with a few strokes using the fine side \u2013 #500<\/li>\n
- The stone fits quite firmly in the stand, so we recommend using the spatula (inserted in the side of the stand) to flip the stone \u2013 just press it into the gap between the white and clear plastic layers and turn slightly<\/li>\n
- After using the Diamond stone, wash it and dry it with a cloth. Well-maintained tools last longer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
