Usage tips for flattening whestones:
- Wet or lubricate the stone being flattened
- Start flattening with the coarse side #150
- Once desired flatness is achieved, finish with a few strokes using the fine side – #500
- The stone fits quite firmly in the stand, so we recommend using the spatula (inserted in the side of the stand) to flip the stone – just press it into the gap between the white and clear plastic layers and turn slightly
- After using the Diamond stone, wash it and dry it with a cloth. Well-maintained tools last longer
