Japanese Bonsai scissors are distinguished by their ergonomic design, smooth operation, extremely good edge retention and timeless design.
The blade, however, is made from traditional carbon steel – very hard but also brittle (more brittle than most people are used to) and prone to rust. Therefore, take good care of this tool: do not abuse it by cutting wires and such, always keep the tool clean after use and wipe it down with camelia oil occasionally.
