Description
What makes Genno hammer special?
- The flat face has various woodworking applications while the curved face is meant for flush nail finish without leaving indentations or other hammering marks
- The curved face can also be used in a Japanese joinery technique where a tenon is hammered slightly (without damaging the fibers with hard edges) to fit snugly within a mortice. Later expanding and locking the joint tight
- Due to its octagonal shape it’s very handy to use on its side, within harder to reach inner corners and such
Tempered faces and softer steel body prevents the head from bouncing off the surface and puts less force on the wrist
- Handle is made of white oak
- Handle length ~30cm
