What makes the Spoon Carving Knife SK1S special?

• The SK1S carving knife has a single-beveled blade
• Suitable for carving both softer and harder wood
• Comfortable rectangular handle – for increased leverage, made from oak wood and coated with linseed oil
• Shaped flats on the handle prevent the knife from rolling off when placed on the worktable
• The blade is made from high-carbon special Beaver Craft recipe steel, hardened to 58 HRC
• The SK1S spoon carving knife is sharp right out of the box! For most needs, this knife is sharpened very keenly, and additional work on the blade will only be required for the most discerning carvers.
