Usage Tips:
- The drill can be used with both hand drills and dril press
- Use the tenon cutter with a hand drill (best with an additional handle – operated with both hands)
- When using the tenon cutter, always secure the workpiece to the workbench (never hold it by hand)
- Coat the produced dowel with wood glue and hammer it firmly in place
- Alternative uses: can be used to construct small tables, chairs, wooden toys, hammers, and similar items using this set for tapered tenon and mortise joinery
Sharpening:
- Due to the complex drill geometry, we don’t recommend sharpening it yourself
- The tenon cutter blade can be easily sharpened with either a Tormek sharpening system or water sharpening stones (#1000 grit stone should be sufficient), or you can order a replacement blade
- We recommend storing the tool in a dry place, regularly cleaning and coating it with vegetable oil to prevent rust
